Engineering Details

Six key engineering systems that define PF70 performance and reliability.

Nitrogen Gas Accumulator

Sealed nitrogen chamber absorbs hydraulic pressure spikes, reducing stress on the excavator hydraulic system and extending pump life by up to 25%.

Auto-Lube Greasing Port

Single-point greasing port with auto-lube compatibility. Correct lubrication interval extends chisel bush life to 700+ operating hours.

Tie-Rod Construction

High-tensile steel tie rods clamp the cylinder, front head and back head into a single rigid assembly — no welded joints in the stress path.

Wear-Resistant Front Head

Front head cast from high-chromium alloy steel, hardness HRC 51–55. Replaceable chisel bush eliminates the need to replace the entire front head.

Idle-Blow Protection

Automatic idle-blow cut-off stops the piston when the chisel loses contact with the material, preventing blank firing that damages the internal cylinder.

Dual-Damper Mounting System

Upper and lower rubber dampers isolate vibration between the breaker body and the excavator arm, reducing operator fatigue and protecting the excavator's boom pins.

Excavator Compatibility

Verified compatible excavator models in the 4–10 tonne class. Always confirm auxiliary flow and pressure before ordering.

Application Gallery

Six primary application sectors where the PF70 delivers proven performance.

🪨

Medium Rock Breaking

Breaking sandstone, limestone and medium-hardness rock in road construction, foundation work and site preparation.

🏗️

Concrete Demolition

Reinforced concrete slabs, footings, retaining walls and bridge abutments on mid-size construction and demolition projects.

🛣️

Road & Pavement Breaking

Asphalt and concrete pavement breaking, kerb removal and sub-base preparation for road maintenance and upgrade projects.

⛏️

Quarry Secondary Breaking

Secondary breaking of medium-sized boulders and oversize material at aggregate quarries and stone processing sites.

🌊

Drainage & Utility Work

Trench cutting through rock and concrete for drainage, stormwater, gas and telecommunications infrastructure projects.

🏙️

Urban Construction

General breaking work on urban construction sites — footings, service trenches and selective demolition in built-up areas.

Installation Guide

Six-step commissioning procedure for the PANDA FORCE PF70.

01

Verify Hydraulic Compatibility

Confirm excavator auxiliary flow (40–80 L/min) and working pressure (120–160 bar). Check back pressure does not exceed 20 bar at the return port.

02

Mount the Bracket

Fit the correct S-type or pin-on bracket to the excavator arm. Torque all mounting pins to manufacturer specification. Fit lock pins and safety clips.

03

Connect Hydraulic Hoses

Connect pressure and return hoses to the breaker ports using 3/4-inch BSP or SAE O-ring fittings. Purge air from hoses before pressurising.

04

Grease the Chisel

Apply NLGI Grade 2 lithium-complex grease to the chisel shank. Initial greasing: 10 pumps. Ongoing: 2 pumps every 2 operating hours.

05

Set Hydraulic Flow

Set excavator auxiliary flow to 60 L/min and pressure to 140 bar for initial commissioning. Adjust within the specified range for optimal performance.

06

Functional Test

Test at low pressure (90 bar) for 5 minutes. Check for leaks, abnormal noise and correct impact rate. Increase to working pressure once satisfied.
